Document Display Framework™

Jive Media's Document Display Framework™ (DocDF) allows publishers and content creators to provide their content on handheld devices in the manner they want. DocDF supports content packaged in the widely used EPUB format along with an easy to implement JSON format for publishers used to working with HTML & Javascript.

DocDF provides seamless integration of text and rich media content, with a number of additional features, including full-text searching, bookmarks, flexible navigation, and more.

• Navigation – Standard e-book readers organize content in linear fashion. Users can easily go to the next page or previous page. Unfortunately, these readers are not designed well for jumping to other content and then returning. DocDF has rich navigation controls for jumping to other sections, allowing users to quickly find what they want.
• Rich Media – We believe the most compelling content has rich-media deeply integrated. Illustrations, slide-shows, videos, audio, and animation are all part of an amazing user experience. DocDF supports all these rich media types within the flow of content.
• Customization – We understand that branding and style are an important part of every product, and DocDF was built to meet those needs.
